WTHS Girls Track Team Opening Weekend Results

Janeya Hammond placed 4th in the 300 meter at The Bishop Laughlin Games and 7th at the Marine Corp Games running a NJ #1 time of 40.76 almost breaking the school record. Janeya also placed 3rd in the 55-meter dash at the Marine Corp and is currently ranked #5.
Nylah Perry placed 3rd in the 400-meter dash at the Marine Corp Games ranking her NJ Group 3 #1 and NJ#4.

Olivia Wright and Shevell Higgs placed 1st and 2nd in the Triple Jump at the Marine Corp Games.  

Jaia James placed 7th in the 55-meter dash finals being the only sophomore int the field. Jaia also placed 1st in the Sophomore 200-meter dash.  Jaia is also ranked NJ#2 for the sophomore class in both the 55 and 200.

At the Egg Frosh/Novice Invitational freshman Anyiah Hudson-Brooks won the freshman 55-meter dash, Sarai Moore placed 3rd in the 55 meter hurdles, Kamryn Holness won the freshman 300-meter dash, Sophomores Charly Dutton and Catherine Enweregi placed 1st and 2nd in the Novice 600 meter run. The freshman 4x200 meter of Sarai Moore, Anyiah Hudson Brooks, Saulliana Archie and Kamryn Holness placed 1st and the Novice 4x200 team of Catherine Enweregi, Samantha Conteh, Ayanna Shumate and Charly Dutton also placed 1st. ​​​​​​​
